Description

The checklist consists of species of animals and plants that are rare or endangered in the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine. The checklist was implemented by the decision of the tenth session of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council of the sixth convocation dated December 27, 2011 No. 219-10/VI "On approval of the Red lists of animals and plants of the Dnipropetrovsk region".

Study Extent

The Checklist covers the entire territory of Dnipropetrovsk administrative region of Ukraine.

Sampling

Scientific names were manually extracted from the species list indicated on the web sites: https://mepr.gov.ua/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Regionalna-dopovid-Dnipropetrovska-ODA-2021.pdf

Quality Control

Scientific names, including authorship, are given using GBIF species matching tool.
