Descrição do Dataset O presente Dataset inclui dados de revisão bibliográfica de trabalhos científicos sobre flebotomíneos (Diptera, Psychodidae) no Estado do Acre, Brasil. Foram utilizados, ao todo, 22 artigos/livros para obtenção dos dados. Como resultado, foram registradas 1096 observações tendo como base 33 variáveis previamente estipuladas pelo Darwin Core, para descrição dos dados bibliográficos. Para o estado do Acre, foram obtidos registros para 8 munícipios, sendo eles: Acrelândia, Assis Brasil, Brasiléia, Bujari, Cruzeiro do Sul, Feijó, Rio Branco e Xapuri. Nestes, 115 espécies de 15 gêneros de flebotomíneos foram identificados, mostrando a grande diversidade desse grupo para o estado do Acre.Purpose
Este conjunto de dados teve como objetivo catalogar todos os registros das espécies de flebotomíneos no Estado do Acre publicados em revistas e livros científicos até fevereiro de 2022.

Dos trabalhos científicos para o estado do Acre, foram obtidos registros para 8 municípios, sendo eles: Acrelândia, Assis Brasil, Brasiléia, Bujari, Cruzeiro do Sul, Feijó, Rio Branco e Xapuri.Sampling
Para a busca do material bibliográfico foram utilizadas as bases de dados: PubMed, Google Scholar, SciELO, BVS - biblioteca virtual em saúde, usando os seguintes termos: “Acre” e (“sand fly” ou “sandfly” ou “sandflies” ou “sand flies” ou “Phlebotominae”) e , desta forma, a primeira palavra era obrigatória nos resultados e as demais deveriam aparecer em uma das formas descritas. Referências bibliográficas citadas nos artigos científicos também foram usadas como fonte de dados.Method steps

- Para avaliar eventual duplicatas e nomes incorretos foram utilizadas ferramentas de limpeza de dados no Excel (Trim, e filtros) além do pacote tidyverse no programa R.
Taxonomic Coverages
Todas as espécies foram identificadas em nível específico, apenas para alguns espécimes foi dada a identificação de Trichophoromyia sp., devido a presença de fêmeas indistinguíveis das espécies Trichophoromyia auraensis e Trichophoromyia ruifreitasi.

Geographic Coverages
O estado do Acre está situado na região Norte e Amazônica do Brasil, correspondendo a 1,92% do território brasileiro. A população é de cerca de 900 mil habitantes. A economia baseia-se principalmente na extração de hortaliças, principalmente na exportação de borracha e castanha brasileira. Sua vegetação é de floresta tropical e possui clima equatorial úmido e quente. A temperatura média anual é de 31,5°C e a pluviosidade é de 2100 mm (IBGE, 2021)
Geograficamente o estado está dividido em duas mesorregiões denominadas Juruá e Vale do Acre, que se subdividem em cinco microrregiões, como Rio Branco, Sena Madureira e Brasiléia pertencentes ao Vale do Acre e Cruzeiro do Sul e Tarauacá ao Vale do Juruá (IBGE , 2021).
