Description

The current water birds monitoring program has the following aims: - Signalling a number of developments on a national scale. - Signalling a number of developments in freshwater and national saltwaters, in bird directive areas and in important habitats of geese and swans. - Determining the population size of water birds that occur in the Netherlands in January, and of various geese species in September, November, January, March and May. 3,977,759 records (March 2018) https://www.ndff.nl/overdendff/validatie/protocollen/14-202-meetnet-watervogels/
