Quality Control

Location and Date data quality is high. Samples with the same GPS coordinates were caught within 30m of the provided GPS location.
Species ID is accurate – subspp. Identification was unable to be completed at the time – Further work on the dataset may produce such information, which will be made available to ALA at the earliest opportunity.

Method steps

1. Samples were opportunistically caught by Beaumont (2002) and Carol Villavedra (2022) at locations sampled by Conroy (1970). Samples captured between Termeil and Timbillica (NSW), in coastal regions. All Beaumont specimens are preserved with naphthalene. All Carol Villavedra specimens had their head and legs removed for genetic analysis, remaining thorax, abdomen and wings were preserved with naphthalene.
