Norwegian freshwater lake fish inventory

Description

Freshwater fish inventories based upon structured questionnaires.

Taxonomic Coverages

Questionnaire in principle covering all freshwater fishes. However, small or cryptic species with less interest for recreational fishing are known to be recorded with less reliability. Absence information for such species e.g. minnow (Phoxinus phoxinus), sticklebacks (Gasterosteidae), sculpins (Cottoidea) are generally not trustworthy but requires interpretation on event to event basis. Presence information is in general trustworthy for all species.
