Materials from "Amphibians of the Former USSR" Databank (® 0229803415, Russian State Register of Databanks)

Purpose

Old version of the amphibians database was created as part of an integrated system for the Russian vertebrate animals diversity.

Sampling Description

Study Extent

All database entries are amphibians that live in the territory of the former species 15 republics of the USSR

Sampling

All data were collected by leading experts of Russia and other biologists from all of Republic of the USSR

Quality Control

Data quality is ensured not a single test amphibian species are highly qualified herpetologists working in universities and institutes of the National Academy of Sciences

Method steps

  1. The database was created on the basis of the second edition of the monograph "Amphibians of the Former USSR" in 2012

The old version of the amphibians Russian database was published only in Russian
