Sampling Description

Study Extent

Occurrence data were obtained from published Catalogue of the Museum of Zoology, NSNHM, NAS of Ukraine: Shevtchenko L. S., Zolotuchina S. I. Mammals. Vol. 1. Muridae. - Kiev: NSNHM, 2002. - 217 p.

Sampling

Data were collected, provided and preserved by the authors of the collections and the organized by the staff of Zoological Museum, National Museum of Natural History, Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. Points of findings were georeferenced according to the available description of each preserved specimen that was found in the publication: Shevtchenko L. S., Zolotuchina S. I. Mammals. Vol. 1. Muridae. - Kiev: NSNHM, 2002. - 217 p.

Quality Control

Authors of the dataset are responcible for the accuracy of its organizing and the data transfered from the mentioned publication.

Method steps

  1. Georeferencing using Google Earth software.
  2. Correcting of the issues and mistakes.
