Flora of higher vascular plants of the village of Novovasylivka

Study Extent

The dataset covers the territory near the village of Novovasylivka on the left bank of the Desna River that occupies the first and second floodplain terraces.

Sampling

Observations were carried out by the route method with the compilation of floristic lists, some difficult-to-diagnose species were collected in the herbarium, partially transferred to the Herbarium of the M.G. Kholodny Institute of Botany, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (KW). The research (excursion and semi-stationary methods) was conducted in spring, summer and autumn to cover the entire growing season. Additionally, there is information provided about a new species of invasive plant Axyris amaranthoides L. The flora of arable land around the village was also investigated.
