Description

The dataset consists of 113 georeferenced points of finds of various representatives of Polissia fauna within the Tal' river valley in Kyiv region. The dataset consists of findings of representatives of the following classes: Aves, Amphibia, Arachnida, Insecta, Reptilia, Actinopterigii. The dataset is a result of a small expedition trip undertaken on August 14-15 2021 near the villages of Tal's'ke and Myrcha, Borodians'kyj district, Kyiv region.

Sampling Description

Study Extent

The dataset consists of 113 georeferenced points of finds of various representatives of Polissia fauna within the Tal' river valley in Kyiv region. The dataset consists of findings of representatives of the following classes: Aves, Amphibia, Arachnida, Insecta, Reptiles. The dataset is a result of a small expedition trip undertaken on August 14-15 2021 near the villages of Tal's'ke and Myrcha, Borodians'kyj district, Kyiv region.

Sampling

The registrations of fauna representatives were made during field trip from v. of Myrcha to Tal' river near the v. of Tal's'ke. The animals were registered visually or with the help of acoustic signals. The total amound of route made was 27 km.

Quality Control

The authors are fully responsible for the quality of data provided within the dataset.

  3. 3. Georeferencing with the help of mobile app Maps.Me.
