Marine mammal survey in TotalEnergies Venus West, Namibia (Orange Basin, Blocks 2912 and 2913B). Survey of all marine mammals seen from a seismic survey vessel conducting a 3D survey. Water depths ranging between 2400 - 3800 m.
Minimum 1 MMO and 1 PAM on watch during all pre-watches and periods with active source, the team are recording wind direction, wind force, sea state, swell height, visibility, sun glare and precipitation each hour or when there is a change in the status of the source.
