Description

Small rodents trapped in old growth forest over several years from 1999 to 2016. Specimen have been collected at ten different sites in Vegårshei (Aust-Agder county), but some of the localities have changed over the years due to clear cuts. Each year, 100 traps, baited with carrot, have been put out for 4 days and nights, during summer season. The main species, Myodes glareolus and Apodemus sylvaticus, have been identified and counted.
