BugGuide (http://bugguide.net) is an online community of naturalists who enjoy learning about and sharing observations of insects, spiders, and other related creatures. BugGuide collects photographs of insects and other arthropods from the United States and Canada for identification and research and summarizes findings in guide pages for each order, family, genus, and species. By capturing the place and time that submitted images were taken, BugGuide creates a virtual insect collection.Purpose
