Description

Inventory of Helvella in Norway. Both material from museum collections and newly sampled material were studied. DNA-barcoding was used in combination with morphological identification in order to determine species.

Sampling Description

Study Extent

Localities in the provinces Oppland, Hedmark, Hordaland, Nordland and Troms were visited, in addition to Svalbard.

Sampling

Making use of existing collections as well as implementing a field component that specifically targets detection and recording of the many newly described Helvella species in four major nature types in Norway.
