iSpot (2008-2010): Shieldbugs & allied species

Dataset homepage

Description

The dataset comprises records of shieldbugs and allied species uploaded to the iSpot website during the period 2008-2010.

Sampling Description

Quality Control

Since almost all the British shieldbugs and allies can be identified from a good photograph, including the nymphs of many species, I have a very high level of confidence in the quality of these data.

Method steps

  1. All records relate to insects photographed in the field and determined by expert consensus on iSpot.
