About 95% of the ringed birds in this dataset are ringed at two locations (the beach plus the trapping garden) at Revtangen Bird Observatory, situated at Jæren, southwest of Stavanger in Rogaland county. Most of the remaining data are from other areas in Rogaland, but there are also a little data from other places in Norway. The observatory is managed by Museum Stavanger.Sampling Description

Migration birds caught in walk-in traps and mist nets.Method steps
- Up to 360 meters of mist-nets in use, up to 10 walk-in traps, playback used on warblers, pipits, grey wagtail,sand martins, storm petrels, brambling, redpolls and thrushes.
