Purpose
These records have been collected under several different surveys. Some for the purposes of EIA, others as part of Kent recorder's activities.

Quality Control
These records have been checked as far as is possible by KMBRC. The data has been passed through the NBN Record Cleaner and cleansed of all date and spatial reference errors. The data is mostly from reknowned local entomologists and some national specialists and so their determinations are presumed to be good, however; the validation rules for terrestrial and aquatic heteroptera have been run and the errors produced saved and are available on request.Method steps
- The records are made up of species observations made by volunteers and submitted to Kent's Regional Recorders.
