Quality Control
All of the data is collected by qualified fieldworkers, who are all Dept of Agriculture staff and who follow a Standard Operating Procedure laid down for the task.Method steps
- Staff members of the Dept. of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, as part of their duties relating to follow-up of herd breakdowns due to tuberculosis, carry out surveys of lands for badger setts. The data contains the location of any badger setts collected as part of this process.
