Description

This dataset includes records of the Decapoda pro parte (Astacidae, Atyidae, Cambaridae, Grapsidae, Parastacidae, Panopeidae) from Switzerland and the adjacent area. Data sources include cantonal (Coordination Office https://www.flusskrebse.ch) and national inventories (Red List Strategy), literature, field observations provided by volunteer collaborators, environmental impact studies and academic work. The period covered by the data extends from 1846 to the present day. All data provided have been subject to a validation procedure delegated to associated specialists.
