Original provider: Green Heritage Fund of Suriname Dataset credits: Monique Pool, Green Heritage Fund of Suriname Abstract: Turtle surveys are carried out on Braamspunt Beach to enhance our knowledge on the status of the nesting beach and the nesting population, which can be shared with other organizations, the government and other countries. Their presence on the beach will also help protect the eggs by deterring poachers and predators. Purpose: To increase the awareness and knowledge on sea turtles and their environment.
