Description

The dataset describes the species composition of the zooperephyton of the Beshkilka river. The river flows in the Isetsky district of the Tyumen region. In this study area, 34 taxon were identified. Of these, 23 were identified to the species level; 4 to genus; 4 to family; 2 to class; 1 to phylum.

The research was funded by RFBR and Tyumen Region, project number 20-44-720008

Sampling Description

Study Extent

The study of the Beshkilka River was carried out as part of the study of aquatic ecosystems in the Tyumen region. For this dataset, the results of 2003 are used.

Sampling

Since 2021, zooperiphyton sampling has been carried out in summer and autumn.

Quality Control

Sptcies name matching

Method steps

  1. The sampling of zooperiphyton at the stations with the current was mainly carried out from the dump stones, in the discharge channel on concrete slabs using a peripheral scraper, and from macrophytes in the reach. The samples were fixed with a 4% formaldehyde solution and disassembled under a binocular microscope.
