Taxonomic Coverages
Only birds ringed are included. Records of Eagle Owl, Snowy Owl, Gyrfalcon, Peregrine Falcon and Golden Eagle have been omitted from the dataset.

Geographic Coverages
This historic dataset also includes birds ringed in other countries than Norway, including Sweden (around 500 birds), Finland (39), Antarctica (100), Tristan da Cunha in the South Atlantic (almost 2000) and smaller numbers in several other countries.
