Marrickville Council recently began collecting bird species data on a rehabilitated and revegetated former tip site at Tempe in the Marrickville LGA, inner western Sydney, through a newly established volunteer group. The Biodiversity team at Council supports and supervises the volunteer group and data is collected each month using a consistent survey methodology.Purpose
