Original provider: Kiril Valchev Dataset credits: Kiril Valchev Abstract: The present database is intended to serve as a catalogue for photo-identification of bottlenose dolphins in the Bulgarian Black Sea area. It is part of a larger study of cetaceans in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of Bulgaria and in NATURA 2000 protected areas where the species is subject to conservation. Purpose: Аims to provide information on population structure, seasonal migrations and distribution patterns of bottlenose dolphins in the Bulgarian waters of the Black sea.
