Danish gall midge (Cecidomyiidae) records

Description

The database comprises occurence and host records of gall midges (Cecidomyiidae, subfam. Cecisomiinae) in Denmark. Its backbone is the catalogue by Skuhravá, Skuhravý and Jørgensen (2006; Entomologiske Meddelelser), which again was based on Marcela Skuhravá's revision of the gall midge collections in the Zoological Museum of the University of Copenhagen, on published records and on own observations made by the authors. The database has been updated with published and unplished records made later than 2006 by knowledgeable cecidologists.
