Description

During the month of December, students of MSc. Environmental science, Adamas University, accompanied by respective faculty mentors, visited Bakkhali, (24 Parganas South, West Bengal) for an excursion, conducted by Nature Mates Nature Club. A study was conducted on the migration pattern of different migratory birds and their foraging pattern was also studied, followed by a survey on the livelihood of the local people. Day-to-day activities of the local residents were also studied and the human and bird interaction was also taken into account.
