Description

Los herbarios históricos del Instituto Botánico de Barcelona, centro mixto Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) y Ayuntamiento de Barcelona, contienen las colecciones botánicas creadas desde el siglo XVIII hasta inicios del XX. Actualmente, a través de la red GBIF, son consultables el herbario de la Institució Catalana d’Història Natural (1202 pliegos), el de la Societat Botánica Barcelonesa (1211) el de Cadevall (8224) y el de Ruiz y Pavón (690) así como parte del herbario Trèmols (3494), Sennen (429), Vayreda (10) y Cuatrecasas (415). En total se incluyen 933 tipos.
