Study Extent
The dataset is a result of own observations of the author. These observations were provided and organized in a form of dataset as a product of winning project of UNCG grant for supporting of investigation of Desna River biodiversity. The research was carried out with the help of the administration of the Mezynskyi National Nature Park and in cooperation with the Mykola Gogol Nizhyn State University.Sampling
The usual collection methods were used during the entomofauna research. Representatives of other taxonomic groups were noted along the way. Also, some collection materials stored at the Mykola Gogol Nizhyn State University and the National Science and Natural History Museum of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine have been processed.Quality Control

- When collecting insects, common methods were used: manual collection, capture with an entomological net, soil traps, collection in shelters.
