The Ecology section is one of the four sections in the department of forest conservation and protection of the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria, Ibadan. As part of her mandate, the section ensures the protection and conservation of natural resources in-situ. The Permanent Sample Plot (PSP 87) is situated in Cross River State of NIgeria, and acomodates a number of interesting species. The current data is a checklist of 72 tree species recorded in 1961.Sampling Description
