16S amplicon libraries were collected as a portion of the Seasonal and decadal changes in temperature drive Prochlorococcus ecotype distribution patterns, also known as Prochlorococcus of Warming Ocean Waters (POWOW) Cruise series. The samples were collected in January 2013 (KM1301) and July 2013 (KM1312) in the Eastern North Pacific Ocean. The goal of this project was to characterize ecosystem scale changes associated with shifts in temperature.Sampling Description
