Description

Georreferenced locations of Yellow-legged gulls tracked with GPS (GPS-GSM system). 55 birds tagged at four different breeding localities of South Western Iberian Peninsula: Odiel marshes Natural Park (Huelva province, Spain), Cádiz Bay Natural Park (Cádiz province, Spain), Tarifa (Cádiz province, Spain), Gibraltar (UK). Time window: April to December 2022.

Study Extent

South Western Iberian Peninsula, particularly Odiel marshes Natural Park (Huelva province, Spain), Cádiz Bay Natural Park (Cádiz province, Spain), Tarifa (Cádiz province, Spain), Gibraltar (UK).

Sampling

GPS locations of Yellow-legged gulls tracked with GPS (GPS-GSM system, 1 fix every 2 hours). Data may contain occasional gaps corresponding to moments when solar-powered tracking devices ran out of battery.

Quality Control

GPS locations with a calculated speed over a threshold defined as the quartile 99% of calculated speed for the whole dataset are removed.
