Own long-term data of fish collections are given. There are mostly freshwater fish from the basins of the Dnipro, Danube, Southern Buh, Dniester and other rivers.Sampling Description
Study Extent
This dataset consists of a number of points where fish species were registered on the territory of Ukraine from 2001 to 2021.Sampling
The data on fish registration was collected by the authors on their own. Some of the collected fish specimens were transfered to collections of The National Museum of Natural History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.Quality Control
Authors of the dataset are fully responsible for the correctness of species identifications, information on organisms' quantity and georeferencing.Method steps
- Collecting of the material.
- Identification of the registered specimens (definition to species level).
- Georeferencing.
Taxonomic Coverages
Mainly freshwater fish species of two classes: Hyperoartia (order:Petromyzontiformes) and Actinopterygii, - are shown within the dataset.
