Description

Distribution of plant species that contain PAs (pyrrolizidine alkaloids) in the chamomile cultivation areas of Lozan (Virovitica-Podravina county, Croatia). The mapping was conducted on the 12th of April 2018 by implementing the survey plots method.

Sampling Description

Study Extent

The research was carried out in the area of chamomille production near Lozan, Croatia of roughly 30 hectares.

Sampling

A standard plot survey method was applied with 135 plots of 50x50 meters covered.

Method steps

  1. Every individual recorded was identified by an expert on the spot. Each plot was surveyed and total number of each PA species was recorded.
