Description

The Hunze and Aa’s Water Board resulted from a large merger of the Hunze and Aa, Dollardzijlvest and Eemszijlvest water boards in the provinces of Groningen and Drenthe. It oversees an area of 213,000 ha that encompasses the Drentsche Aa, the Mussel Aa, the Ruiten Aa and the Westerwoldse Aa, the 5 main rivers in the area.
