Good - nomenclature follows Butler and O’Connor (1994), O’Connor, Sleeman and Butler (2005), Sleeman (1997), and Doyle, O’Halloran and Smiddy (2004) except for: cummingsiella hospes, menacanthus minusculus and saemundssonia humeralis, which are named in Nomina Insecta Nearctica as cummingsiella charadrii (Linnaeus, 1758), menacanthus eurysternum Burmeister 1838 and Saemundssonia scolopacisphaeopodis Schrank 1803 respectively.
