Description

This core was obtained in January 1994 by the RV Franklin using a gravity corer at a depth of 2667 m at 44°15.38’ S, 149°59.47’E. It is 4.71 m long and is almost uniformly olive grey clay (5Y, 5/1–6/2). The coarse [>150 μm] fraction consists almost entirely of biogenic carbonates. The core was found to span the last 460 ka, representing four glacial–interglacial cycles. Data from PANGAEA (https://doi.pangaea.de/10.1594/PANGAEA.946026) accessed on 2022-11-01
