Bat species occurrence data for England, with records from 1949 to 2011. The dataset is a collation of records from many contributors, held and maintained by Natural England. It is important to note that this resource is incomplete, because data has been collected for a range of different purposes (primarily underground sites) and not as a comprehensive survey of species occurrence. Please be aware that records are no longer being added to this dataset.Sampling Description
