Description

The checklist consists of species of animals and plants that are rare or endangered in the territory of the Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine. The checklist was implemented by the decision of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council of April 23, 2021 No. 150-6/2021 "On approval of the list of rare and endangered plant species in the territory of the Ivano-Frankivsk Region".

Study Extent

The Checklist covers the entire territory of Ivano-Frankivsk administrative region of Ukraine.

Sampling

Scientific names were manually extracted from the species list indicated on the web sites: https://www.if.gov.ua/storage/app/sites/24/documentu-2021/ekologichniy-pasport-2020-ivano-frankivskoi-oblasti.pdf

Quality Control

Scientific names, including authorship, are given using GBIF species matching tool.
