Checklist of vascular plants of the National Nature Park «Kamianska Sich» (Kherson region, Ukraine)

Study Extent

The territory of the National Nature Park includes 12261.14 hectares of state-owned land, namely: 6013.241 hectares of state-owned land provided to the National Nature Park for permanent use, including withdrawal from land users, and 6247.899 hectares of state-owned land included in its territory without withdrawal from land users. The park is located in Beryslav district of Kherson region. It includes the lands of Kachkarivska, Mylovska, Novokaira, Chervonomayatska and Novorayska village councils. The park was created on the basis of 2 large beams - Kamianska and Mylovska, and also includes the terrace of the Dnipro River between the villages of Chervonyi Mayak and Kachkarivka, plakorus areas adjacent to the beams and the terrace, the water area of the Kakhovka Reservoir and the lower reaches of the beams flooded by it.

Recording and identification of vascular plants with using road-field methods.

Quality Control

The identification of vascular plant species was held with morphological methods at the field and in the Kherson State University Laboratory of Plant Ecology and Environmental Protection. Coordinates of records were checked using Google Earth service. Data cleaning using OpenRefine.

3. Completing of annotated list of vascular plant.
4. Data post-processing according to the Darwin Core standards.
5. Data checking and cleaning in OpenRefine.
