Swiss wide occurrence data of native species present in the Vaud Alps (selected organismal groups), aggregated from validated records with a spatial validity inferior to 251m, provided by Swiss National Biodiversity Databanks (https://www.infospecies.ch).
Records are gridded with a resolution of 100x100m and aggregated according to coordinate uncertainty (I: occurrences with coordinate uncertainty in meters inferior to 72m; II: occurrences with coordinate uncertainty in meters between 72 and 250m). First and last year of occurrence, as well as the number of aggregated original records are indicated. Occurrences flagged as biogeographically allochthonous have been excluded. Sensitive breeding bird records are not part of this dataset. The dataset is projected in the Swiss coordinate system Swiss CH1903 / LV03 (epsg:21781). Number of generated records (2021-08-11): 9'943'013. Number of taxa: 7'061.
