The taxonomic composition of the zooperiphyton of the cooling reservoir of Tyumenskaya CHPP-1 (Tyumen, Russia) in 2016 was studied. During the study period, 75 taxa were identified, of which 53 were identified to the species, 12 to the genus, 6 to the family, 2 to the type, one each to the class and subclass.Sampling Description
Study Extent
The studies were carried out in the framework of the study of zooperiphyton on the lake. Rent in 2016 The material was the samples collected from June to October 2016, the collection was carried out at 5 stations, differing in the flow rate and water temperature.Sampling
June to October 2016 three samples were taken monthly from each station. A total of 75 samples were taken.Quality Control

- The sampling of zooperiphyton at the stations with the current was mainly carried out from the dump stones, in the discharge channel on concrete slabs using a peripheral scraper, and from macrophytes in the reach. The samples were fixed with a 4% formaldehyde solution and disassembled under a binocular microscope.
Taxonomic Coverages
Geographic Coverages
The cooling reservoir of Tyumenskaya CHPP-1 was created on the basis of the oxbow river. Tura (Lake Obrochnoye), which, after transformation, retained its linear configuration. Water for the cooling system is taken from the river. Tours, after being discharged into a cooling pond, heated water passes through most of the lake and goes back to the river through the canal. The chemical composition of the water corresponded to clean waters according to the complex ecological classification and the requirements for fishery water bodies.
