Description

Two comprehensive inventory surveys are carried out in the breeding season of Black-tailed godwit (Limosa limosa). The method of the Breeding Birds Monitoring Project was emulated as much as possible (BMP, van Dijk and Boele 2011). Compared to the BMP project, fewer visits are carried out; these are adapted to the godwit breeding season as much as possible. Other farmland birds are noted on a map to collect information about their occurrence. Protocol 14.011 only godwit habitats. Apart from godwit, other farmland birds are also surveyed (Vanellus vanellus, Haematopus ostralegus, Tringa totanus, Alauda arvensis, Anthus pratensis, Motacilla flava, Spatula querquedula, Spatula clypeata, Perdix perdix, Aythya fuligula, Mareca strepera, Anas crecca, Calidris pugnax, Numenius arquata, Aythya ferina, Tadorna tadorna, Cygnus olor, Gallinago gallinago, Coturnix coturnix and Crex crex) according to breeding bird monitoring project guidelines. These species are entered as individual observations via protocol 14.100. Positive observations without zeros. Dataset available via https://www.ndff.nl/english / serviceteamndff@natuurloket.nl 1,642 records (March 2018) https://www.ndff.nl/overdendff/validatie/protocollen/14-011-beheermonitoring-weidevogels-utrecht/
