The Ecology section is one of the four sections in the department of forest conservation and protection of the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria, Ibadan. The section has as part of her mandate to protect and conserve natural resources in-situ. The present data reports a total of 89 tree species recorded in the Owena Permanent Sample Plot (PSP 29) located in the Akure Forest Reserve. This dataset was compiled by the Ecology Section of the Institute in 1934.Sampling Description
