Description

Fish parasites from the classes Monogenea and Myxosporea. Collected from marine fish in Norway, mainly in the Oslo Fjord in the period 2011-2016.

Samples of pelagic and bottom dwelling fish in the Oslofjord will be obtained from local fishermen (gill nets and trawl), and by beach seining or fish traps. The project will also receive fish caught by the research vessel at the University of Oslo (UiO) in connection with an annual field course at the MBS.
