The Yellow Box Fragmentation Project is a CSIRO research project to determine the genetic variability of Yellow Box (Eucalyptus melliodora A.Cunn. ex Schauer) across its range, and to analyse how fragmentation is affecting population and species resilience. The project is engaging with members of the public, schools, NGOs and industry to assist in the collection of leaf and seed samples as well as some preliminary information about the sampled trees and their local environment. This site is being used to record information about the sample collections. The samples collected are being sent to Linda Broadhurst for genetic analysis.Purpose
