This is an updated list including the respective synonymy, of foraminifera from the coasts of Venezuela. The compendium includes around 4,514 records for 1,035 species distributed along the Venezuelan coast, including the one corresponding to the islands. Of this total, 271 species are endemic to Venezuela. The compiled publications come from 1918 to 2021. The Rotailida, Miliolida and Textulariida groups stand out as the most important within the species composition, accumulating 84% of the total, with the other groups being Lagenida, Nodosairida, Spirilinida, Polymorphinida, Vaginulinida, Robertinida, Carterinida and Involutinida which contribute the remaining 16%.Additional info
