The UAA Entomology Collection includes approximately 5,000 specimens with a focus on pollinating and aquatics insects of Alaska. Collections are managed under the Alaska Center for Conservation Science, a research center within the University of Alaska Anchorage. The collection officially joined the Arctos community in 2023. The UAA Entomology collection is the primary repository of vouchers from the Alaska Bee Atlas and aquatic insects originate from stream ecology studies conducted by the Alaska Center for Conservation Science.
Purpose
