CIM Specimens

Description

The Center for marine research concentrates its research on the northern Adriatic Sea. Its specimen colletion contains living cultures from the CIM Algal Culture Collection, which mainly concentrates on Microphytoplankton and Microphytobenthos, with a special focus on toxic Microalgae. However more specimens from benthic and pelagic species up to lower vertebrates and higher plants derived from uncultured material are also available. Not available specimens from species from the northern Adriatic are prepared on demand.
