Description

Observations of dispersal from plantations of two alien conifer species, Pinus contorta and Picea x lutzii, to natural habitats as part of the project “Kartlegging av spredning av fremmede bartrær”.

Sampling Description

Study Extent

Dispersal was mapped during the summer of 2015.

Sampling

All individuals of Pinus contorta and Picea x lutzii found outside plantations were mapped in a 500 x 500 m square with the mother plantation in the center. Other alien conifers, as well as red-listed species found in the vicinity of plantations, were also included.
