Description

During the summer of 2012, VT Department of Forests, Parks, & Recreation ran two types of traps to collect insects at the wind-disturbed mixed forest in the Hinesburg town forest in VT. All beetle and wood wasp captures from the published report are included in this data set.

In and around a 45 acre blow-down in the Hinesburg Town Forest

Sampling

Lindgren funnel traps baited with UHR ethanol and alpha-pine and Uni-Traps with lineatin pheromone, alpha-pinene, ethanol and/or cut branches of yellow birch
