Description

A list of the tracheophyte names accepted in "Flora Severo-Zapadnogo Kavkaza" [= Flora of North-Western Caucasus] (Zernov, 2006). The source covers Krasnodar Krai (to north from the Kuban River and to the west from the Malaya Laba River) and the Republic of Adygea. The dataset was compiled as a first step towards further processing of the modern checklist for Krasnodar Krai and the Republic of Adygea, Russia.

Stable archival version (not edited, not curated).

The dataset includes 2,639 accepted species and subspecies names. Cultivated plants uknown as escapes (93 species marked with "+") and species mentioned as possible records (238 species marked with "●") are excluded.

Several minor orthographic errors in either scientific names or their authors were corrected manually. Some names were not automatically cross-linked with the GBIF backbone.
